SPD 2013 - studentské dojmy
SPD Košice: 22.5-24. 5. 2013
Verbální vulgarita a motivace byla dvě témata našich studijních a výzkumných prací, se kterými jsme měly jedinečnou příležitost vystoupit na Mezinárodních psychologických dnech, které letos pořádala filozofická fakulta Košické univerzity J. P. Šafaříka.
Byla to pro nás velmi zajímavá a hodnotná zkušenost. Samy jsme si okusily prezentování před několika člennou porotou významných českých i slovenských psychologů. Naskytla se nám tak jedinečná možnost porovnání a získání dalších inspirujících podnětů z různých oblastí psychologie. Upoutalo nás, že téměř všechny výzkumy našich kolegů byly jen a pouze kvantitativně orientované. Kvalitativní metody se tak zdály být upozaděné. My jsme však přesvědčeny, že je důležité, aby i kvalitativní metody měly na podobných setkáních své místo, protože některé skutečnosti/data, lze citlivě zachytit právě jen jimi. Naše práce se sice neumístily na žádném z předních míst, přesto jsme přispěly a obohatily konferenci nemalým podílem. Myslíme, že je hodně důležité, aby studenti z naší katedry i nadále přispívali svými výzkumnými pracemi a ukázali tak, že ať už kvantitativní nebo kvalitativní studie prováděné na naší fakultě jsou rozhodně velmi kvalitní a originální.
Kromě poznání studentského prostředí Košické univerzity a kolejí, kde jsme byly ubytované, nám také zbyl i čas na prohlídku samotného města. Centrum Košic doslova dýchá rozmanitými historickými a kulturními památkami na každém kroku.
Na závěr bychom po vlastní zkušenosti chtěly apelovat na všechny, které jejich výzkumy baví a jsou na ně pyšní, aby se nebáli prezentace, ani hodnocení a zviditelnili jak práci svou, tak práci našich vyučujících. Mezinárodní studentské psychologické dny jsou jedinečnou příležitostí, jak cvičit dovednost působivé prezentace a zároveň dostat do povědomí poměrně široké odborné veřejnosti, že psychologická věda lze dělat mnoha způsoby a není dobré ustrnout v kvantitativní metodologii.
